We were absolutely blown away by the rich history of the home and the incredible transformation it has undergone. The breakfast was simply mouthwatering, and to top it off, we got to spot an eagle while eating! Exploring the nearby lighthouse and being entertained by Daphne made our stay even more delightful. The peaceful and serene surroundings provided the perfect escape, and we couldn't have asked for better company at breakfast. The hosts were not only kind and hospitable, but they have also done an amazing job restoring the property and creating a picturesque landscape. The river view was simply jaw-dropping! Our room was spacious with a stunning view, a luxurious en suite bathroom, and a bed that felt like sleeping on clouds. The hosts went above and beyond, providing us with helpful information about the area. The fleece bathrobes were a lifesaver in the chilly weather. All in all, we felt right at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The hosts were warm and friendly, providing lots of helpful information about the locale. The room had a fantastic view of the river and was spacious with a very nice en suite bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had good shelving for convenience. The fleece bathrobes came in handy during the chilly weather. The hosts have done an impressive job restoring the home and the surrounding landscaping. Breakfast was delicious, and I even had the pleasure of spotting an eagle while enjoying my meal. The location was perfect, close to a great interpretation center and a viewing spot for semi-palmated sandpipers. I felt right at home and enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings.
Totally recommend this hotel.
